Charities cash in on parking at Liberty Center

The new Liberty Center plans to share its success with area charities. The more vehicles that park at the new mixed-used development, the more money that is collected for good.

The Liberty Center Foundation announced six beneficiaries of its Change for Charities program, where a portion of parking meter proceeds benefits the organizations: Boys and Girls Club of West Chester/Liberty, Edge Teen Center, Every Child Succeeds, Reach Out Lakota, Talbert House and Dragonfly Foundation.

“These six groups are making a significant impact on our community, and we are happy to support their causes,” said Kevin Cedik, general manager of Liberty Center.

Liberty Center, which is just off I-75 in Liberty Township, has 204 parking meters, with an additional 4,400 parking spots in adjacent lots and garages.
