Sunday, June 12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Ault Park
The featured marque for the 39th annual Ault Park Concours d’Elegance classic car show will be Ferrari. The event will feature 13 regular classes of classic, vintage and exotic automobiles and motorcycles.
It also will include these special displays: “100 Years of BMW,” “The Cars of Donald Healey,” “All-American Workhorse — the Pickup Truck” and “50th Anniversary of the Ford GT40 1-2-3 Sweep of LeMans.”
Adult tickets are $20 or four for $60 through 8 p.m. June 5. At the gate, tickets will be $25 for adults, $15 for students with ID and free for children 12 and younger.
Proceeds from the show and related events benefit the Arthritis Foundation, with a special focus on juvenile arthritis
Leading up to Sunday’s Concours, weekend events include:
Cruisin’ for a Cure, Friday, June 10, 7 p.m., Cincinnati Masonic Center. The benefit for juvenile arthritis research will feature Dr. Santa Ono, president of the University of Cincinnati, as speaker. A researcher in the immune system and eye disease, he will discuss the vital nature of research as it applies to such diseases as juvenile arthritis.The event, catered by Jeff Thomas Catering, will include a live auction.
Tickets are $145.
Countryside Car Tour, Saturday, June 11, noon-5 p.m. Participants will gather at Mariemont Square beginning at 11 a.m. for an informal car display, then depart for a scenic drive to the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum. The tour is open to all car enthusiasts but limited to the first 70 entries. Tickets are $40.
Hangar Party at Lunken Airport, Saturday, June 11, 5-9 p.m. Guests will be treated to a display of luxury jets, vintage aircraft and rare collector cars. Chef Jeff Thomas will serve gourmet hors d’oeuvres, complemented by a variety of beers, wines, and spirits. The evening also will include a silent auction. Tickets are $95.
