The American Jewish Committee will present its National Human Relations Award to John T. “Tad” Lawrence III, senior vice president and senior institutional consultant for UBS Financial Services.

Rabbi David Rosen, AJC, international director of interreligious affairs, will deliver the keynote address at the awards dinner.

Event co-chairs are John F. Barrett, chairman of the board, Western & Southern Financial Group; Robert H. Castellini, CEO, Cincinnati Reds; Dr. Robert Heidt Jr., Wellington Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine; Bobby Lawrence, CEO, Local TV LLC; Carl H. Lindner III and S. Craig Lindner, co-chief executive officers/co-presidents, American Financial Group; and Pam Sibcy, vice president of marketing, Sibcy Cline Realtors.

Lawrence said he learned from his parents that “you achieve in life not by getting things, but by going out and doing things.” He lives by their words – currently serving on the boards of The Children’s Home of Cincinnati, the Bethesda Hospital Foundation, the Lindner Center of Hope, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Cincinnati Symphony, among others. His history of past board and volunteer service is extensive.

AJC works to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and to advance human rights and democratic values for all.
