CET, ThinkTV snag 25 regional Emmy nominations

Public Media Connect, the partnership of CET in Cincinnati and ThinkTV in Dayton, has been nominated for 25 regional Emmy Awards.

The nominated work ranges from arts and entertainment to documentary, military, historical, magazine and information/instructional programs, along with creative staff nominees in the performer, writer, photographer, editor, director and musical composition categories.

CET’s nominees include:

Arts and Entertainment: CSO Classical Roots – Mark Lammers and Taylor Feltner; Cincinnati World Piano Competition – Mark Lammers, Taylor Feltner and Michael Seppelt.

Magazine Program: arts Bridge – Donald Hancock, R. Matthew Schwartz, Jason Garrison, DeShon Able, Paul Verhagen.

Magazine Feature/Segment: Legally Blind Photographer, Kevin Watkins – Tim Bayer, R. Matthew Schwartz and Donald Hancock; arts Bridge: Chelsea VandeDrink, Recording Engineer – Mark Lammers.

Special Event Coverage: LUMENOCITY 2015: Masters and Dreamers – Taylor Feltner, Mark Lammers, Julie Davis, Neal Schmidt, R. Matthew Schwartz, Michael Seppelt, Jason Garrison, DeShon Able, Paul Verhagen.

Director – Live or Live to Tape: 2014 World Piano Competition – Taylor Feltner; One City, One Symphony – Taylor Feltner.

ThinkTV had 17 nominations.

Winners will be announced at the Emmy Gala on Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Lawrenceburg Event Center in Lawrenceburg, Ind.
