More than 200 runners and walkers took part in the College Hill Blues and Brews 5K Run & Walk, a benefit for the College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corp. The race and block party netted $16,000 for development and improvement of the College Hill central business district.

The organization is working with Saint Francis Group on site plans for the $32 million College Hill Station development, a mixed-use project at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and North Bend Road. It also is finalizing financing on the $1.2 million renovation of the Dow Corner Buildings and Doll House, where Brink Brewing Co. is the first new tenant.
