Sunday, Oct. 29, 5:30 p.m., Hyatt Regency Cincinnati
The Cincinnati Associates of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion invite the community to attend the annual Cincinnati Associates Tribute Dinner. John E. Pepper Jr. will be the honoree, and Shakila T. Ahmad and Daniel J. Hoffheimer will receive the Yedidut-Friendship Award.
Pepper, Ahmad and Hoffheimer were selected, say organizers because they are active community volunteers who embody the HUC-JIR Cincinnati campus mission of interfaith learning and dialogue that embraces the power to create a new social infrastructure reflecting abundant diversity.
Dinner co-chairs are Andrew and Linda Berger and Edward Diller.
Funds raised will benefit the Rabbinical School and the Joan and Phillip Pines School of Graduate Studies on the campus.
Tickets are $200.
