Actors have a list of roles they’d love to play, some more realistic than others.

For one night only, patrons at The Carnegie should expect the unexpected as Carnegie Miscast gives local theater performers the chance to tackle songs they traditionally wouldn’t have the opportunity perform for an audience.

Among those in the Miscast lineup are Justin Glaser, Helen Raymond Goers, Leslie Kelly, Kim Schroeder Long and Allen R. Middleton, performing Broadway classics such as “You’ll Be Back” from “Hamilton”; “Agony” from “Into the Woods”; “I Believe” from “The Book of Mormon”; “For Forever” from “Dear Evan Hanson”; and “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago.”

“Carnegie Miscast is a fun, mixed-up fundraiser that lets our local talent take a shot at some of their favorite musical theater hits, even if they’d never get to play the role on stage,” said Maggie Perrino, theater director at The Carnegie.

Tickets are $45 ($35 for Carnegie members) and include two drink tickets, post-performance dessert reception and dance party.
