The Good Samaritans’ 34th annual gala – “Illusions, Expect the Unexpected” – surpassed its goal and raised $556,000 for the Good Samaritan Hospital Behavioral Health Services. The proceeds will go toward a drug and alcohol treatment program that offers enhanced medical treatment options for patients, and will hire chemical dependency specialists, provide education to team members and coordinate with community partners and providers. Funds will also provide annual support to the Good Samaritan Free Health Center and Medical Education Research Fund.

The Good Samaritans is a volunteer organization of Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation and includes members with ties to the medical and business community. The gala was chaired by Holly Mouch, with co-chairs Felicia Burger and Mary Beth Schmidt.  Physician champion was Dr. Dallas Auvil.

More than 720 attended gala at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati. The entire cost of the event was underwritten by generous donors. Corporate sponsors included: Bricker & Eckler, Fifth Third Bank, Phillips Supply Co., SC Ministry Foundation, and Seven Hills Anesthesia.
