Talbert House celebration promotes fatherhood

Families celebrated Father’s Day at Sawyer Point at the Seventh Annual Fatherhood Community Celebration staged by Talbert House. Thousands of folks attended the free event that featured games and entertainment, arts and crafts, food and beverages, sports activities, and live music.

Team up to clean up Winton Lake

Great Parks of Hamilton County is teaming with the Ohio River Foundation and Rivers Unlimited for free paddling programs that include lake cleanups. Participants can sharpen their canoe and kayak skills while improving the water quality of Winton Lake.

Time to tune up your health, with KSO’s help

The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra will add a 5K run and boot camp workout to its repertoire as part of Covington’s Healthy Outdoor Weekend. That will be combined with a concert of popular classics planned by KSO director James Cassidy, with it all designed to help you feel fit as a fiddle.
