The Cincinnati chapter of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, a worldwide society devoted to fine food and wine, has donated $6,000 to Cincinnati State’s Midwest Culinary Institute. The gift will become part of the Irwin and Barbara Weinberg Culinary Scholarship Fund.
The Greater Cincinnati Foundation will help ensure student preparedness for post-high school success with an $80,000 grant. The Louis & Louise Nippert Charitable Foundation will assist CYC mentoring services with a $20,000 grant.
The grants this year will bring Impact 100’s total philanthropic investment in the Greater-Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region to more than $3.6 million. Impact 100 empowers women to dramatically improve lives by collectively funding significant grants intended to make a lasting impact on the community.
Over the past 63 years, the Montgomery Woman’s Club has given more than $1 million toward schools, equipment and scholarships, while also supporting the Sycamore Student Cultural Series.
Accelerate Great Schools, a nonprofit fund founded in 2015, has announced its first grants toward its goal of ensuring that every student in every neighborhood of Cincinnati has access to a great school.
