Western & Southern has sponsored the nativity display since 1939 and for many years has matched the monetary gifts left by visitors. Since 1994, donations and Western & Southern’s match have resulted in more than $250,000 for the Salvation Army.
The event committee formed to honor the late Karen Mason, who cared for West Chester resident Patti Alderson’s elderly mother until Mason was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She died of the disease in 2012. This year, honorees will come from six categories: Hospital/hospice, nursing home/retirement center, home care, child care, physician and family care.
The Cincinnati Art Museum has a cornucopia of adult programs to help explore the collection and special exhibitions in a new, fun way. The programs all continue through the end of the year.
The Cincinnati Art Museum’s Final Friday Happy Hour will feature “30 Americans,” a new exhibition that focuses on issues of racial and historical identity in contemporary culture.
