Magnified Giving, which works to engage students in lifelong philanthropy, is launching a new fundraiser in honor of National Philanthropy Day. Dubbed the “Giving is Good . . . So is Golf!” Experience, the event will start just a few hours after the National Philanthropy Day Luncheon.
The annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals will honor four local philanthropists. Richard Rosenthal will be honored as Philanthropist of the Year. Other honorees include John I. Silverman, Outstanding Volunteer; Katie McElveen, Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy; and Wesley Holm, Ambassador of Philanthropy.
The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is doing its part to recognize the significant impact philanthropy and nonprofits have on our community. AFP’s annual luncheon, held on National Philanthropy Day, will honor those who have made Greater Cincinnati a better place.
