Saturday, Nov. 21, 6:30 p.m. Hilton Netherland Plaza
Cincinnati Opera will transport guests to the Eternal City with its annual Opera Ball.
The event and its theme — “To Rome With Love” — were inspired by the new production of Puccini’s “Tosca.” The evening will feature a gourmet dinner by chef Todd Kelly, live auction, fine wines, and entertainment by tenor Aaron Blake.
At 9:30 p.m., the action will shift to an after-party featuring a live band, Swampthang, and dancing. Cincinnati Opera president Murray Sinclaire Jr. will be honored at the event.
Opera Ball co-chairs are Jacqueline M. Mack and Mona Kerstine. Tickets for the ball start at $250; after-party tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Call or email Teddy Gumbleton, (513) 768-5520 or tgumbleton@cincinnatiopera.org
