New ‘Tosca’ inspires Opera Ball

The annual Opera Ball’s theme of “To Rome with Love” offered a hint of what’s to come when Cincinnati Opera presents its new production of Puccini’s “Tosca” this summer.

Tenor Aaron Blake, who will star in this summer’s world premiere opera “Fellow Travelers,”  performed at the gala, at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. The evening honored Opera Board president Murray Sinclaire Jr. Opera Ball co-chairs were Mona Kerstine and Jackie Mack. A “When in Rome” after-party followed the ball.

The new production of “Tosca” debuts July 23 at the Aronoff Center for the Arts.
