Society of Colonial Wars marks 120th year

The Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Ohio wrapped up its 120th year in December with its Winter Court event.

The Society is a fellowship of men with ancestors from America’s Colonial era, and fosters interest in Colonial history.

At Winter Court, the Governorship of the Society passed from Dr. M. Donald Hayes to Leland Cole. Hayes became Deputy Governor General, the organization’s highest position.
