Rescue Bank, a national pet food distribution nonprofit organization, recently named United Pet Fund in Blue Ash as their regional affiliate, and the bounty arrived at the UPF Resource Center in time for the holidays.
The Houston-based program supports donated pet food deliveries to reach smaller, less visible nonprofits caring for animals nationwide. Operating on a national food bank model, food donations are secured from manufacturers, distributors and retailers across the nation.
United Pet Fund is a rapidly growing Blue Ash-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting smaller and lesser-known animal shelters, rescues and advocacy groups in the Tristate. In 2015, UPF members cared for over 31,000 animals in need of a home.
