Greater Cincinnati Foundation hits all-time high

The Greater Cincinnati Foundation had a record-breaking year, raising more than $100 million in 2015.

“It’s an extraordinary result,” said President/CEO Ellen M. Katz, who took the helm in May.

Gifts to the foundation help specific organizations or projects and benefit the community through grants. Some gifts are invested immediately in the community, and some are added to endowments to provide charitable resources for years to come.

The previous high was $85 million, in 2014.
