Sunday, May 1, 6 p.m.; Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State
More than 30 of Cincinnati’s leading chefs will participate in the Midwest Culinary Institute’s “1 Night, 12 Kitchens.” A limited number of tickets are still available for the scholarship fundraiser.
Working alongside students and their own culinary teams in the school’s 12 teaching kitchens, the guest chefs will prepare appetizers, entrees, salads and desserts.
Patrons, meanwhile, will be able to tour the kitchens and food preparation areas, chat with the chefs and students, then head out to the serving stations to sample food and wines.
Since its inception in 2005, “1 Night, 12 Kitchens” has raised more than $600,000 for scholarships. During that period, more than 1,000 students have graduated from Cincinnati State’s hospitality and culinary programs, and many have enjoyed scholarships made possible through this annual event.
Tickets are $125 and $200. Info: rsvpbook.com/20161Night12Kitchens or 513-569-4222
