The combination of free admission and the new exhibition “Do Ho Suh: Passage” drew nearly 1,3000 visitors to the Contemporary Arts Center on Valentine’s Day weekend.

The CAC launched free entry Feb. 13. Admission will be free for at least the next three years as the result of a gift from The 50, a new group of 50 young philanthropists.

The new exhibit, a comprehensive survey of Korean-American artist Do Ho Suh, will remain  on display through Sept. 11.
