Approximately 60 people gathered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, for the 16th annual Cincinnati-Florida Reunion organized by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.
Marty Hiudt, the federation’s Community Campaign co-chair, updated attendees on happenings in the Cincinnati Jewish community, and CEO Shep Englander discussed the increased collaboration in the Jewish community in the 11 years he has been in Cincinnati.
Alexandra Shklar of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee shared the story of her personal journey from Siberia to Israel to the U.S. She also discussed her current position serving the Jews of Ukraine and the former Soviet Union who live in impoverished conditions.
The event was hosted by Patsy and Barry Kohn and sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.
