More than 380 guests gathered March 5 at the Savannah Center in West Chester for Mount Notre Dame’s Grande Gala – Evening on the Emerald Isle.
The event is the school’s largest fundraising event. Proceeds benefit a variety of areas, including tuition assistance, spiritual development, academic programs, student activities and classroom improvements.
Guests were treated to the sights and sounds of Ireland, including live bagpipes and a performance by the McGing Irish Dancers. Attendees enjoyed cocktails, games and dinner, as well as live and silent auctions. The Fund-A-Need paddle raise garnered a record $83,500.
The event was chaired by Joe and Maura Muenchen and Jim and Andrea Cinquina Rosenthal.
“This year’s Grande Gala met its goal of $238,000, exceeding expectations,” said Judy Gerwe, head of school.
