New passport takes theater lovers behind the scenes

The League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT) has introduced a Theatre Ambassador program, with a pass good for exclusive backstage experiences at Cincinnati’s professional and university theaters, as well as box office discounts.

Patrons who love and take pride in Cincinnati’s rich artistic community can deepen their expertise with monthly peeks “behind the curtain” at venues including Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, The Carnegie and many others. Membership also allows for monthly access to “PlayDates,” where a participating company will offer an exclusive look at how their stage productions move from conception to the stage – talks with playwrights, tours of scenic shops, and fight choreography demonstrations are just a few of the experiences available in the 60-90 minute programs.

Memberships are $75.

Founded in 1999, The League of Cincinnati Theatres is an alliance of nonprofits dedicated to enhancing cultural vibrancy in Greater Cincinnati by supporting, promoting and celebrating member theaters.
