For members of Kindervelt 50, “Hats, Horses & Hearts” was more than just another Kentucky Derby party. Indeed, it was a celebration that raised more than $75,000 for Cincinnati Children’s Heart Institute/Neurodevelopmental Educational Clinic.
The May 7 event at Kenwood Country Club welcomed more than 300 Kindervelt supporters, who donned their Derby-chic hats and attire, sipped mint juleps and placed bets on their favorite runners. The party featured bourbon tasting, dinner, desserts by the bite, a silent auction and raffle items. Dancing and music by DJ ETrayn went late into the night.
Sponsors included Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati, Knowlton Foundation, Tisdel Distributors, BB&T Bank, Pure Romance and the Kenwood Country Club.
Event co-chairs were Amy Fox, Jessica Levine, Tamara More and Jessica Cicchinelli.
