Grant helps Easter Seals support homeless vets

Easter Seals TriState has been awarded $100,114 from the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program, which was authorized by Congress in 2001. The grant will help connect homeless veterans with the resources needed to achieve sustainable employment.

Easter Seals TriState has more than 40 years of experience in workforce development services for people with disabilities and disadvantages. In 2013, recognizing the unique needs of veterans, it launched a program just for them: Operation: Vets THRIVE.

Since its creation, 95 percent of the 1,150 veterans served report having their needs met.
