Tender Mercies held its 24th annual charity golf outing, the s.p.a., inc. Tee Up for Tender Mercies, at Clovernook Country Club.
In all, 120 golfers joined Tender Mercies for a day of golf to help support homeless adults with mental illness. Golfers participated in course games, enjoyed lunch sponsored by Barnes Dennig and took part in a silent auction and raffle. Dinner was sponsored by Viox Services. Participants learned how Tender Mercies transforms lives by hearing Sue, a current Tender Mercies resident, tell about going from a business professional to homeless because of depression and a job loss.
Sponsors included s.p.a. inc., Interim Healthcare, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Foundation Bank, AAA and First Financial Bank.
