Eight local celebrities paired with professional dancers from the Arthur Murray Dance Center in a benefit for the Children’s Law Center in Covington. In all, the fourth annual Dancing with the CLC Stars raised more than $73,000. Fundraising champion Joe Bayer, from Turner Construction, raised $10,700. Two dancers – Jamie Ramsey of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, and Jennifer Kinsley of Salmon P. Chase College of Law – tied for the title of talent champion, with each scoring perfect 10s from the three judges. Brent Cooper, president of C-Forward, won the title of grand champion by scoring a near-perfect total of 28 from the judges and raising more than $10,500.
