Last year, a group of JDRF supporters and car enthusiasts came together as a committee to launch Accelerate the Cure to Kick Type 1 Diabetes Car Show, which raised more than $111,000.
The committee is at it again, planning the second exclusive car show, which this year will be dubbed Accelerate 2.0.
Committee members include Kate Devine, Megan Joy, Susan Mustian, Julie Richardson and Petra Vester.
Guests (21 and older) will be shuttled via party bus from Indian Hill to the site to enjoy food and cocktails and view John and Julie Richardsons’ extensive collection of cars, boats and motorcycles. Guests also will get the opportunity to tour the facility and talk with the restoration and maintenance team.
At the event, one of the classic cars from the collection will be raffled off. Because the Richardsons generously underwrite the entire cost of the event, all proceeds will benefit JDRF Southwest Ohio.
