The University of Notre Dame Club of Greater Cincinnati will present the club’s highest honor, the Award of the Year, to alumnus Tom Tressler.
The program will feature Notre Dame’s men’s lacrosse coach, Kevin Corrigan.
The Award of the Year recognizes an area graduate who has made extraordinary contributions to the community and Notre Dame.
Tressler, who graduated from Notre Dame in 1991, has been a key leader of the club for more than 10 years. He founded the gift-basket raffle committee, which has contributed $22,210 to the club’s scholarship fundraising since 2005. He chaired the 2014 Hesburgh Lecture and this year’s club Scholarship Committee. Tressler has been the group’s community service chair since January 2015 and has been responsible for a tremendous increase in the number of service projects, as well as the number of participants.
Tressler and his wife, Sally, have three children and are parishioners of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Admission is $10, but free for children/students and club members.
Appetizers and soft drinks will be provided, along with a cash bar.
