Saturday, July 30, 3-6 p.m., Promont, 906 Main St., Milford
Thirsty 4 History, sponsored by the Greater Milford Area Historical Society, will feature craft beer from local breweries, food, entertainment, a silent auction, split the pot raffle, Promont museum tours and informal discussions on Cincinnati beer history.
The Round Bottom Road bluegrass band and country singer Phyllis Staley will provide entertainment.
“We are hosting Thirsty 4 History as a way to introduce the community to GMAHS and Promont, the 1865 Italianate mansion that is home to the society,” said Donna Amann, the organization’s administrator.
Tickets for the adults-only event (21 and older) are $25, if purchased by July 15, and $30 afterward. The ticket includes six 4-ounce beer tastings and tapas-style food servings. A non-beer ticket, at $20, will include iced tea, bottled water and food. A limited number of tickets will be available at the event.
Visitors also may sign up for free docent-led tours at 3:15 and 4:30 p.m. Tours are limited in size and require registration.
