Voices of Humanity to salute WWII vets

Sunday, Sept. 25, 5:30 p.m., James and Caroline Duff Banquet Center, Xavier University

The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education will honor World War II veterans and the generation that helped defeat Nazism during its Voices of Humanity 2016.

Louis Weisser, a WWII veteran and Holocaust survivor, will be honored as a Voice for Humanity. After surviving World War II and the Holocaust, Weisser came to Cincinnati in the 1950s. He has been an advocate for Holocaust education, paving the way for the establishment of CHHE.

Jerry Springer, a child of Holocaust survivors, will be emcee.

Tickets are $150, or $100 for young professionals.
