Even the ‘Pope’ a fan of LSP’s spaghetti dinner

More than 300 hungry people sat down recently to enjoy a feast of spaghetti and hand-made meatballs recently at St. Paul’s Archbishop Leibold Home for the Aged. The event was a benefit for Little Sisters of the Poor.

In addition to the dinner, made from Sister Mary Imelda’s recipes, guests could enter a basket raffle and get their pictures taken with the pope – or, at least, a cardboard cutout of the pontiff. All told, the benefit more than doubled last year’s donations and will help care for the more than 100 seniors at the home.
