Sunday, Sept. 25, noon-5 p.m., Northside
Participants in the 16th Northside House Tour will glimpse the architectural life of Cincinnati’s most eclectic neighborhood.
Known for its bustling business district and abundant nightlife, Northside also boasts the city’s fastest-rising home values. The doors to 12 homes, from restored historic gems to modern dwellings with up-to-date green practices, will open to attendees.Tour homes date from the Northside building boom in the 1880s and 1890s through 2015. Most are on the tour for the first time.
Hospitality centers will provide a place to sit down or use the restroom, and many restaurants and shops in the business district will be open to serve tour-goers.
Pre-sale tickets, for $15, will be available in early September online and at all North Side Bank locations and several Northside businesses. Tickets will be available for $18 starting at 11:30 a.m. on tour day at the McKie Recreation Center.
