The Anthony Muñoz Foundation is starting its seventh year of tutoring and mentoring with its Whiz Kids program.
Tutors are needed for the program that focuses on helping students in kindergarten through eighth grade with reading development. No previous experience is needed. All training and materials will be provided.
The Whiz Kids program meets from 4-5:20 p.m. each Wednesday at Roberts Academy, starting in late September.
The deadline for tutors to register is Sept. 1. Tutors will submit an online application via City Gospel Mission, the Whiz Kids program partner.
