The Central Parkway YMCA has reopened after a months-long, multi-million dollar revitalization.
“The transformation of the Central Parkway YMCA has been our dream for more than a decade, and this $17 million revitalization will enable the Y to be an essential health and wellness resource in this community for many years,” said Sandy Walker, president and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.
Central Parkway YMCA is one of 14 branches in the Cincinnati association that also includes an overnight camp and more than 70 child care centers.
The YMCA operates a state-of-the-art fitness, health and wellness center on the first four floors of the building. Offices are located on the third floor. Episcopal Retirement Services, in partnership with the Model Group, will oversee 65 senior affordable living apartments on the upper floors.
