Family’s powerful story touches golfers

More than 300 golfers teed it up at Kenwood Country Club at an annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati.

But one little girl won it all – including the hearts of the golfers who heard her family’s story.

Eden Lindberg stayed at Ronald McDonald House several months while daughter Annajade was undergoing a bone marrow transplant. The golfers were so moved by Eden’s story they donated nearly $50,000 to the “Adopt a Family” program in less than 5 minutes.

In all, the golf outing raised $200,000.
