Impact 100 adds 5 to Young Philanthropist program

Impact 100’s Young Philanthropist group has five new members.

With help from donors, young women with an interest in local philanthropy can get involved in the collective giving organization with the help of a scholarship that pays a share of their membership.

New to the roster for 2017 are Leanne Blaire, Melanoma Know More; Kelly Crow, Stepping Stones; Kaitlyn Grote, A Kid Again; Kara Shibliya, Cincinnati Public Schools; and Sarah Siegrist, Gorman Heritage Farm.

The name, Impact 100, comes from the initial goal of 100 women contributing $1,000 to award a $100,000 grant to a community organization.

Each year $100,000-plus grants are awarded to Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky nonprofit organizations. This year, four grants of $101,500 each will be given at the Sept. 16 awards celebration.
