Clifton Cultural Arts Center is offering up inspiration, interesting people and fresh ideas during Sunset Salons from 6 to 8 p.m. on five Wednesday evenings.
The first, on Sept. 28, is “Bridging Cultural Divides,” featuring a panel of seven discussing ideas for creating a more culturally inclusive city.
Future salons are:
- Celebrations – Nov. 16 : A conversation about religious observances and holiday customs led by local spiritual leaders. Collect your best family stories and traditions.
- Authors – Jan. 25 : Calling all bibliophiles and wordsmiths! Area authors share pointers for publication and insights into the writing process. Plus, attendees get a chance to try out those tips.
- Coffee – March 22: Espresso, affogato, cappuccino, Americano: what makes the perfect cup of joe? Cincinnati baristas, purveyors, roasters and enthusiasts answer the pressing questions about coffee.
- Garden & Landscape – May 24: Make your garden perennially lovely and annually spectacular. Tips and tricks for planning and preparing your summer garden.
Season passes are $45. Individual tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. for heavy hors d’oeuvres and mingling, with the panel conversation starting at 6:30 p.m.
