Friday, Oct. 21, 5:30 p.m.-midnight, Prime 47 Steakhouse, 580 Walnut St.
A fire performer, 50 gaming tables, magicians, caricaturists, live music and more than 75 prizes are just the beginning of the fun planned at the Red Carpet Casino Night. The event, benefiting Envision Children, will take place indoors and outdoors.
“It’s going to be a great time,” said Matt Hughes, Envision Children’s business manager and coordinator of the event. “We are billing it as the biggest and best after-office party of the season. We expect office workers stopping by after work, along with weekend revelers who will travel downtown to enjoy a fun-filled evening.”
Because the gambling is for fun and fundraising only, guests will collect the chips they win at the games and redeem them for tickets, which will go into drawings to award prizes.
Entertainment will include the band Like Minds.
Tickets are $35, which includes food, initial casino chips and entertainment. For $47, guests can buy premium tickets, which include one drink ticket and additional chips. More chips can be purchased throughout the evening.
