Taste of the Neighborhood supports Mercy Neighborhood Ministries

Sunday, Oct. 23, noon-3 p.m., Purcell Marian High School

Mercy Neighborhood Ministries in Walnut Hills will host a day of fun, food, and entertainment during its annual fundraiser, Taste of the Neighborhood.

Local restaurants will provide tastings of some of their most popular dishes, including mini barbecue sandwiches and coleslaw from Eli’s BBQ, bean soup from The Brewhouse, quinoa and wheatberry salad from Kitchen 452, coney dogs from Skyline and sweet treats from The Bonbonerie. The event also will feature a silent auction, as well as Halloween crafts, face painting and trick or treating for the kids. Rockin’ Ron Schumacher from WGRR will be the emcee.
Mercy Neighborhood Ministries promotes the empowerment of individuals, with a focus on disadvantaged women and seniors.
