People Working Cooperatively Prepare Affair

Saturday, Nov. 12, various times

If you have one morning to help an elderly or disabled homeowner in your neighborhood, here’s your chance.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities will join together for People Working Cooperatively’s annual Prepare Affair – raking leaves, cleaning up yard debris and cleaning out gutters, putting away outdoor furniture and doing other minor winter prep tasks.

People Working Cooperatively Prepare AffairBottom line: You’ll make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of people who need your help in order to stay in their own homes.

Individuals, groups of friends, company teams, and school or faith-based organizations are all welcome. All skill levels and ages are needed.

Most groups will work for several hours that morning, but different dates can be arranged, depending on individual availability.

PWC will provide all tools, bags and ladders for the work. Volunteers who can transport ladders and serve as gutter cleaners are especially needed.
