More than 130 swimmers made a round trip across the Ohio River during the annual Great Ohio River Swim in late September. Among them were 83-year-old Marilyn Braun; Local 12 news anchor Cammy Dierking; Caroline Keating, the fourth member of her family (whose name is synonymous with swimming in Cincinnati) to make the swim; and first-place finisher, 15-year-old Cameron Eglseder. All were raising money for the Outdoor Adventure Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, a nonprofit that introduces students from 20 inner-city schools to activities such as canoeing, climbing, skiing and kayaking.
