Habitat receives $2.5M to fuel Zero Equivalent loan program

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati and the Home Ownership Center of Greater Cincinnati again will partner with four local banks to offer the Zero Equivalent Mortgage pool.

The participating financial institutions are Union Savings Bank, Guardian Savings Bank, Center Bank and Northside Bank and Trust.

The $2.5 million loan pool will fund below-market-interest-rate mortgages for families whose homes are built or rehabbed by Habitat.

“The Zero Equivalent Mortgage pool is a huge aid for Habitat to carry on its mission to enable home ownership for deserving, hard-working families in Cincinnati,” said CEO Ed Lee of Habitat.
