Tuesday, March 6, 7 p.m., Know Theatre, Over-the-Rhine
Know Theatre, which turns 20 this year, is celebrating with behind-the-scenes tales from its two decades of adventurous art-marking.
The event, called trueKNOW, is billed as “more than a benefit,” with its plans for celebration of the stories, friends and family who have helped make the Know what it is.
The evening will include true stories from the theater’s “tribe,” including founder Jay B. Kalagayan; former operations manager and longtime sound and productions designer Doug Borntrager; actress and director Piper Davis; actor, Fringe performer, bartender and educator Darnell Pierre Benjamin; and managing director Alice Flanders. Emcee for the event is producing artistic director Andrew J. Hungerford.
Tickets are $50 and include a drink ticket, hors d’oeuvres from Water Tower Champagne, a champagne toast and silent auction.
