Top talent in Cincinnati’s design community gathered for a VIP cocktail hour hosted by The Rug Gallery in Kenwood. The mission was to spread the word about a fundraiser aimed at turning empty houses into housing for homeless families.

The inaugural Party in the House will benefit New Life Furniture Bank. The nonprofit collects gently used and new furniture to furnish the empty homes of families leaving shelters.

The event will honor Everything But the House founders Jacquie Denny and Brian Graves. It also will feature a Design Challenge, in which seven designers will unveil vignettes highlighting gently used or repurposed furniture.

Tickets start at $75.
