Lindner Center of Hope’s reveals new brand better aligned with mission

Lindner Center of Hope has revealed a new visual identity as part of the mental health organization’s broader effort to expand its impact across Greater Cincinnati.

The brand overhaul includes a new logo and color scheme as well as an updated mission statement:

“To provide exceptional mental health services and improve the health of our community.

“We achieve this through expertise, innovation, research, education, advocacy and putting people first. We start by meeting individuals wherever they are on their journey and relentlessly pursue excellence in all we do.”

But leaders at the Mason-based mental health treatment and research facility view the changes as the next step in an ongoing organizational evolution. In 2022, the Lindner Center of Hope announced a $30 million development campaign to expand its facilities, staff and services.

Key focus areas of the Transforming HOPE campaign include continuing to build and retain the clinical team as well as expanding treatment capability.

Today, Lindner Center of Hope provides comprehensive mental health services, including psychiatric hospitalization, residential services, substance use disorders treatment for adults and outpatient services for all ages. It also offers partial hospitalization for individuals 12 and older and research.

The campaign aims support adding new treatment units, patient rooms, group spaces, common areas and clinician offices. It’ll also introduce new wellness services and community outreach programming.

The Lindner Center of Hope opened in August 2008.

“Our community’s need for mental health services has significantly increased in the past few years and is projected to continue growing over the next decade,” said Dr. Paul R. Crosby, CEO. “Investment in these projects will keep essential mental health services in the Cincinnati area, serving not just this community, but patients and families from the broader region as well as the rest of the country and world.”

A better bridge to a strategic vision

Lindner Center of Hope – which partners with UC Health and Cincinnati Children’s – initiated the rebrand to better bridge its reputation with its strategic vision, according to Michael Groat, chief clinical officer.

In a release, the organization described the new branding as better positioning it as the region’s destination for “empathy and excellence in mental health care and a place that serves as a beacon of hope for people who may be suffering from mental illness and addiction.”

Community members can learn more about the Lindner Center of Hope and contribute to the Transforming HOPE campaign at LindnerCenterofHope.org.

“The Lindner Center’s new brand identity wonderfully aligns the research, innovation, education and advocacy that has always taken place at Lindner Center of Hope on behalf of patients with our mission to meet individuals wherever they are on their journey,” Groat said.
