Cincinnati Opera has announced the details of its 2025 Summer Festival.
Next summer, Cincinnati Opera will mark its 105th anniversary season with a four-production schedule, including brand-new production of the beloved musical “Fiddler on the Roof.” The festival will also feature a new-to-Cincinnati production of “Rigoletto,” Giuseppe Verdi’s tragic tale of vengeance gone wrong and a revival of the company’s production of “Tosca,” Giacomo Puccini’s story of love, betrayal and political intrigue.
Rounding out the 2025 Summer Festival is the return of Studio Sessions, a series of three intimate, artist-curated concerts presented in a cabaret-style setting.
Performances will run from June 12 to July 27, 2025, at Cincinnati Music Hall. The complete schedule is available below.
“For our 105th summer of opera and my 20th with this extraordinary company, we’re excited to offer opera as a way to connect with oneself and one’s community,” said Evans Mirageas, the Opera’s artistic director. “From the emotional landscapes of ‘Tosca’ and ‘Rigoletto’ to the life-affirming message of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ to the intimate performances of Studio Sessions, the 2025 season offers experiences that will resonate deeply with the spirit and illuminate our shared humanity.”
