Findlay Market is once again selling Christmas trees and other holiday decorations at its Over-the-Rhine location to raise money for its community programs.
The sale starts with a soft launch on Wednesday and officially begins on Black Friday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. It will continue every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Dec. 22.
Customers can choose from three sizes of fresh Christmas trees from Nova Scotia, along with garland, wreaths and tree stands. Findlay Market also offers commemorative ornaments created by Muddy Lotus, one of its outdoor market vendors, for $14.99 or $5 with a tree purchase.
Prices and hours are available on the Findlay Market website.
Buying a tree from Findlay Market does more than just get you in the holiday spirit. The proceeds go toward Findlay Market programs such as Findlay Kitchen, Findlay Launch and Findlay Learn, which support women- and minority-owned small businesses.
A team of volunteers helps make the Christmas Tree sale possible by assisting guests in selecting their tree, wrapping it, and securing it to their vehicle.
Anyone interested in volunteering with a group of friends, family or coworkers can contact Emily Lloyd at elloyd@findlaymarket.org. There’s also an online sign-up form.
