bi3 Fund is accepting proposals from nonprofit organizations for projects aimed at improving access to maternal mental health services in Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties.
The effort aims to address barriers to maternal mental health care, particularly for Black and Hispanic women, who face some of the greatest disparities in access and outcomes. bi3 seeks to raise awareness, reduce barriers and expand access to culturally relevant maternal mental healthcare.
To do so, the grantmaking initiative will award grants ranging from $150,000 to $500,000, with total funding of up to $2 million. bi3 expects to fund three to five organizations over one to three years through its “Improving Maternal Mental Health” request for proposals.
Funding aims to benefit individuals living in Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont counties.
“bi3 works to improve health outcomes for all people in Greater Cincinnati,” said Jill Miller, president and CEO of bi3. “By centering on barriers to mental wellness and improving maternal mental health for all moms, we can also have a positive impact on children, households, and communities.”
A virtual informational workshop is scheduled for noon on April 7. Those interested must register.
Letters of intent are due May 8, with full proposals from invited applicants due July 14.
