StartupCincy has introduced a new platform designed to connect founders, investors and ecosystem partners with the resources and opportunities needed to drive startup success.
By consolidating Cincinnati’s startup resources into a single hub, the Digital Front Door initiative aims to help entrepreneurs quickly access funding, mentorship, hiring opportunities and essential tools for growth.
Key program features include:
- Dealroom: A real-time dashboard showcasing top startups, funding rounds, and investment opportunities.
- Resource compass: A guide to funding, mentorship and accelerator programs, consolidating offerings from more than 60 organizations.
- Calendar of events: An automated hub featuring pitch nights, workshops, networking events and more.
- Ecosystem passport: Free access to co-working spaces, maker studios, and innovation hubs across the city.
- Startup job board: A connection point for talent and hiring startups, making it easier to build high-impact teams.
- Slack community: A digital space for founders, investors and ecosystem players to collaborate and share insights.
“Cincinnati’s startup ecosystem is thriving, but navigating its many resources can be a challenge,” said Nikki Boehmker, executive director at Cintrifuse, the nonprofit entrepreneur support organization that leads StartupCincy.
Boehmker said the Digital Front Door aims to “transform Cincinnati’s startup landscape” by:
- Unlocking full access: Entrepreneurs can tap into every available resource in one centralized location.
- Increasing discoverability: Startups, investors and resources are easily accessible within a single hub.
- Enhancing connectivity: Founders, small business owners and investors can explore funding, workspaces and ecosystem events seamlessly.
- Strengthening Cincinnati’s startup brand: The initiative positions the region as a national leader in startup activity, attracting outside interest and investment.
“The Digital Front Door eliminates that friction by putting everything in one place,” Boehmker said. “It’s more than just a platform—it’s an open gateway to growth, innovation and success in our region.”
