Magnified Giving, UpSpring partner on new summer camps

Magnified Giving is partnering with UpSpring to expand philanthropy education for children experiencing homelessness through two new summer camp sessions.

The collaboration will introduce Magnified Giving’s Camp Give program to students attending UpSpring’s Summer 360° camps in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. Campers will take part in service projects and grant-making activities designed to build leadership skills and community awareness.

Horizon Community Fund of Northern Kentucky is sponsoring the Northern Kentucky camp, while The Mayerson Foundation is funding the Cincinnati session.

“This partnership has been a long time coming, and we’re excited to work with UpSpring to enhance their outstanding programming,” said Alison Kaufman, vice president of programs at Magnified Giving. “Every child deserves the opportunity to recognize their ability to give — whether through time, talent or treasure — and to know that their voice matters in the community.”

Camp Give blends philanthropy education with hands-on activities to help young people understand how they can make a difference. By combining Magnified Giving’s curriculum with UpSpring’s support services, the initiative aims to foster a new generation of philanthropic leaders.

Magnified Giving, founded to engage students in philanthropy, provides programs throughout the region that encourage young people to address social issues and serve their communities. Camp Give extends that mission by offering immersive experiences that teach compassion, leadership and civic responsibility.
